Disability

Due to the particular geographical morphology of the Borromeo locations and their gardens, as well as the restrictions put in place by the Cultural, Architectural and Landscape Heritage Service, access to the museum sites may prove difficult for people with mobility disabilities.

Disabled visitors with a certified disability of 30% or more are entitled to a 100% discount.
Please note that Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Bella and the Rocca di Angera are equipped with a lift to allow visits to the internal rooms. On request, our staff can offer support to open the turnstiles located at the exit openings for Isola Bella and Isola Madre.
At the Parco Pallavicino it is possible to request at the ticket office the availability of a golf car in advance to take visitors from the box-office to the cafeteria, which is located at the highest, most panoramic point. The journey is of short duration.
For further information on methods of access, we suggest contacting the Terre Borromeo call centre +39 0323.933478.

Pets

To maintain the balance of the delicate museum and botanical heritage, access is not permitted for animals inside the Palazzi and gardens of Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Rocca di Angera. Access is permitted for guide dogs for the visually impaired.
